Responsibilities of 1-2-1 Executive Search when retained:
  • Review and finalize the position description
  • Recommend total compensation plan for the position (including bonus plan if appropriate)
  • Search our local and national database of candidates
  • Provide background search on all candidates presented
  • Set up timeline for the search process including dates for advertising (if needed) and interviewing dates
  • Work with nonprofit employer and final job candidate to arrive at a win/win agreement

Responsibilities of the nonprofit employer:

  • Clarify the “decision tree” for the position to simplify the approval process for position description, compensation plan, interviewing dates, final selection of candidate, and signing of final agreement with candidate
  • Protect the confidentiality of job candidates presented by 1-2-1 Executive Search
  • Conduct interviews on the dates agreed to in the timeline
  • Make decision on final candidate/sign employment documents by date agreed to in the timeline
